The 2022 Wistron Humanities Festival held a rare lunchtime concert, organized by the Wistron Foundation's long-term public welfare partner, the Alliance Cultural Foundation, on December 22, 2023. For this occasion, internationally renowned violinist Mr. Nai-Yuan Hu led a group of outstanding musicians from the Taiwan Connection (TC) Chamber Orchestra, including violinists William Wei and Vladimir Shan-Hsin Chang, violist Hung-Wei Huang, cellist Pin-Jyun Chen, and flutist Fuki Wang, to play at corporate salons held at Wistron's Neihu headquarters in Taipei and R&D center in Kaohsiung, respectively, gifting Wistron employees a precious musical feast on Christmas Eve.

TC was founded in 2004 by Nai-Yuan Hu and Chairman Stanley Yen of the Alliance Cultural Foundation, with Nai-Yuan Hu as the director, inviting outstanding musicians at home and abroad to perform as a conductorless orchestra. In addition to arranging chamber music performances in formal concert halls, the TC Chamber Orchestra also holds international chamber music festivals, rural campus music lecture halls, and music salon lecture series. Since its establishment, Mr. Hu has continuously and firmly encouraged TC musicians to take classical music into every corner of Taiwan.

Simon Lin, Chairman of Wistron, personally greeted Mr. Nai-Yuan Hu and TC musicians, hoping that in addition to pursuing an excellent work performance, Wistron employees could also prioritize deepening their cultural and humanistic knowledge. He hoped to ignite the humanistic spirit of the company by engaging with art, with music as an important starting point.
