Concepts

Applying the concept of Altruism into practice and dedication to caring for Culture and the Environment

Wistron officially established the Wistron Foundation in 2010. For stakeholders such as our employees, suppliers, investors, government agencies, non-profit organizations, we hope to attain not only a positive corporate image and impact, but also to fulfill our responsibilities as a citizen of the Earth by the outward manifestation of our internal corporate culture. We uphold the principles of the Foundation and are dedicated to facilitating the balance and harmony between humans and nature. We work hard to protect the environment and the ecosystem, as well as to improve cultural values.
Areas of Focus

Focusing on key areas to facilitate balance between Man and Nature

Caring for the Environment and Education

By protecting the integrity of habitats various species can benefit and be preserved. The Foundation works with multiple social welfare partners to protect habitats and promote environmental education. We continue to conduct long-term environmental studies and follow-ups. We not only place importance on the ecosystem of natural habitats but are also concerned with the safety of the land and its environment.

Caring for Culture and Education

The foundation has long been supporting the training of featured school teachers, developing different visions and abilities in the work of education. The foundation invests resources in the disadvantaged and children in rural areas, reducing the difficulties and resource gaps encountered during the learning process. The foundation aims to improve cultural literacy through the promotion of arts, culture events, and radio programs.

Making Documentaries about Nature and Culture in Taiwan

The foundation invests in the production of excellent documentaries and films to bring out and expand an influence on the public at a very subtle and subconscious level. Such media influence in diverse forms is not limited to the audiences in Taiwan. The international release of excellent films and documentaries also has attracted much global attention to environmental issues and cultural topics.
