Since 2022, the Wistron Foundation has been stewarding 3.7 hectares of critical habitat in Guandu Nature Park, including the Moon Pond and the Black-winged Stilt habitat, “Heart Wetland.” These efforts aim to safeguard this vital wetland near Taiwan’s capital, Taipei.
In 2023, the Foundation expanded its environmental conservation efforts to include natural art. Forty colleagues from the Cultural Affairs Division participated in the 2023 Guandu International Nature Art Festival, working alongside five artists from diverse cultural backgrounds, including Mongolia, India, and Japan.
Together, the Wistron team created a collective artwork titled Ascending Blessings. Crafted from driftwood, this piece embodies the festival’s theme, Nature, a Gift. Through this creation, Wistron colleagues conveys its best blessing for nature and the environment, presenting it as the greatest gift to Mother Nature.
The highlight video of the 2023 Guandu Art Festival has now been officially released. We express our gratitude to all the colleagues who contributed to last year’s creations and sincerely invite everyone to watch the video. Let’s look forward to the exciting activities planned for this year’s Guandu Art Festival.
